Hey there!
Hope you’ve been amazing.
We took a short break and are back with a new look and a new series to us kick off.
We’re calling it:
âď¸ Do Less, Achieve More
It’s a series all about simple lessons to grow your business without burning you out.
Every year around this time, we find business owners tend to be feeling the pressure.
You’re back into full swing after the holiday season, and there’s a lot to do.
So, we’re here to remind you:
You don’t need to do more to grow this year.
Instead, do less. But do it better.
Salmon & salad anyone?
Our #1 favourite family meal is salmon and salad.
It might sound basic, but it’s fresh, delicious, and we always feel good after eating it.
The kids get genuinely excited when it’s salmon night.
And the best part?
It’s so simple.
No chaos in the kitchen.
No mountain of dishes.
Just one pan, fresh ingredients, and a meal that works every time.
Your business needs this too.
Here’s why:
THE ONE-PAN PRINCIPLE
Why doing fewer things produces better results
Just like our family dinner, your business performs better when you stop overcomplicating everything.
Most business owners try to grow by adding: more offers, more marketing channels, more projects, more ideas.
But growth doesnât come from âmore.â
Growth comes from focus.
1. Simplicity creates consistency
When something is simple, itâs easy to repeat.
A one-pan dinner works because thereâs no fuss, no complicated steps, no juggling 5 different things.
You can make it again tomorrow and it will taste just as good.
Business is the same.
Fewer moving parts mean your team can deliver consistently, not just on a good day, but every day.
So implement simple systems that stick, and can be repeated successfully over and over.
2. Fewer moving parts = fewer fires
The more dishes you add to the kitchen, the more things can go wrong.
Pots boil over.
Something burns.
The veggies get chopped in a rush and cook unevenly.
More stuff = more chaos.
The same thing happens in your business.
Every unnecessary offer, project, or process creates extra mess, extra noise, and extra problems.
When you reduce the moving parts, you reduce the friction.
Everything gets calmer, cleaner, and easier to manage.
3. The work gets better when the load gets lighter
When thereâs only one dish to cook, you can actually give it attention.
(Season it properly, cook it evenly, plate it nicely, etc.)
The result is better, simply because you arenât rushing.
In business, your team performs at a higher level when theyâre not stretched across 15 priorities.
They have time to think, focus, finish, and improve.
Quality goes up. Stress goes down.
A lighter load creates better work.
â Bottom line
If you want your business to grow this year, donât add more pans to the stove.
Choose fewer priorities and execute them well.
Do less and achieve more đ.

The Boomerang Problem: why work keeps bouncing back to you when delegation goes wrong…
and how to stop it from hitting you in the nose.
